Job summary

Zeeco is seeking an I/E Flare & Combustion Technician to install, commission, troubleshoot, and maintain flare systems, thermal oxidizers, enclosed combustors, BMS, and instrumentation across refinery, petrochemical, LNG, and industrial facilities.

The role requires hands-on electrical and instrumentation work, field service at customer sites, and the ability to read schematics, P&IDs, and control narratives. Travel, safety leadership, and robust reporting are essential to success.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Technical degree, instrumentation certification, or electrical training preferred.
Minimum 3+ years of experience in industrial electrical, instrumentation, combustion, or flare systems.
Strong troubleshooting skills in industrial electrical and instrumentation systems.
Ability to read electrical schematics, P&IDs, loop diagrams, control narratives, and instrument data sheets.
Knowledge of low-voltage industrial electrical systems and PLC/控制系统 troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems on flare and combustion equipment.
Read electrical schematics, P&IDs, loop diagrams, and control narratives.
Troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, BMS, ignition controls, and safety shutdown systems.
Perform electrical testing with meters and diagnostic tools.
Interface with customers and teams; prepare detailed service reports.
