Walbec Group is seeking a Heavy Equipment Field Service Mechanic in Gladstone, MI to repair and maintain construction equipment. You will work under the Shop Foreman and travel to field sites as needed.

The role requires five+ years of diesel engine experience, diagnostic skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced shop and outdoor environments. CDL preferred, tools provided, and union benefits offered.

Formación

• Five+ years of experience with heavy-duty trucks and diesel engines.
• Own tools up to 1 inch drive; some specialty tools supplied by shop.
• Diagnose with electrical troubleshooting and read schematics.
• High School diploma plus vocational training or relevant work experience.

Responsabilidades

• Inspect equipment and identify worn or damaged parts.
• Perform preventive maintenance and upgrades; winterization.
• Repair major assemblies and systems; test drive.
• Maintain service logs and shop safety.
• Use mobile service truck for field calls.
