Job summary

Teledyne FLIR is seeking a Field Service Engineer to travel to customer sites to install, calibrate, and service continuous emission monitoring systems (CEMS) and related instrumentation. The role requires interpreting technical drawings and manuals for startup and preventive maintenance, and documenting test results with precise reports.

Ideal candidates will have 3–5 years of related experience, an AA/AS.

Qualifications

• AA/AS. or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
• 3–5 years of related experience and/or training.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Responsibilities

• Travel up to 75% to customer industrial sites.
• Service and maintain continuous emission monitoring system (CEMS) equipment.
• Repair and calibrate instruments such as opacity, NOx, SO2, CO, CO2, O2, NH3, flow rate, Mercury and Particulate.
• Produce detailed write-up reports with technical data from testing instrumentation.
• Interpret engineering drawings and manuals for system startup, certifications, and preventive maintenance.
