As a Field Service Engineer - Transformers, you will be the technical face at customer sites—commissioning new units, troubleshooting in-service equipment, and building the field service playbook. This role requires 50-75% travel, on-site responsibilities, and collaboration with engineering and quality teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related field.
• 2+ years of hands-on field experience with power/distribution transformers, switchgear, or related power delivery equipment.
• Reading schematics and single-line diagrams.
• Ability to travel 50–75% (domestic and international sites).
• Valid driver's license and passport accessibility.
• Willingness to work in field environments and lifting/moving components.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site installation oversight, startup, and commissioning of transformers.
• Conduct acceptance testing per IEEE/IEC/NEMA and customer specs before energization.
• Coordinate outages and site readiness with customers and project managers.
• Prepare technical reports and documentation of test results.
• Respond to emergency service calls and after-hours support.
