Position Overview

BD Parata is seeking a Field Support Engineer in San Diego County. You will provide technical and customer support for pharmacy automation products, traveling regionally to serve pharmacies in various environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve technical issues onsite
  • Maintain and proactively troubleshoot equipment to maximize uptime
  • Train customers on system operation and maintenance
  • Respond to service requests within SLA standards
  • Collaborate with teams to resolve complex issues
  • Assist with new automation installations
  • Document issues and resolutions in Salesforce Field Service Lightning
  • Provide product feedback for improvements
  • Work independently with minimal supervision
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Electronics, Mechanical, Robotics, or Biomedical Engineering Technology preferred, with 3-5 years field service experience or equivalent
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of networking, router/switch configuration, and file management
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools
  • Experience with digital multimeters and electrical testing
  • SQL knowledge is a plus
Physical Requirements
  • Daily travel, including occasional air travel
  • Lift/carry up to 50 pounds frequently, 100 pounds occasionally
  • Stand for long periods as needed
