Overview

Sartorius has an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, self-motivated professional to support the Field Service organization for the Lab Essential portfolio, including water systems, balances, and analyzers. This position primarily serves customers in the New Brunswick, NJ area, with a territory that includes NJ, PA, DE, and MD, and potential travel to additional states. The incumbent will be a critical team member assisting customers with installations, calibrations, maintenance, and repairs. What you will accomplish together with us
  • Provide service and customer support during field visits or dispatches
  • Tie workflow to schedule
  • Manage all on-site installation, repair, maintenance and test tasks
  • Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions
  • Produce timely and detailed service reports
  • Document processes
  • Operate vehicle in a safe manner and use field automation systems
  • Follow all company field procedures and protocols
  • Cooperate with technical team and share information across the organization
  • Understand customer requirements and provide appropriate recommendations
  • Assist with troubleshooting and analyzing process failures that arise
  • Build positive relationships with customers
What will convince us
  • Associate degree or certifications in engineering or military training and 5+ years of proven field service experience
  • 2+ years of field service experience, including calibration of balances and moisture analyzers
  • Reside in or near New Brunswick, NJ
  • Open to traveling 50% or more overnight
  • Able to troubleshoot, test, repair and service technical equipment with excellent mechanical, electrical, and IT skills
  • Valid Driver's License and Passport
  • Proficient with MS Office software, including Outlook, Word and Excel

Compensation

Compensation is 75,000–85,000 USD (dependent on experience and qualifications), plus an annual bonus and a car allowance.
