Overview

Beckman Coulter Diagnostics, a Danaher operating company, is a global leader in clinical diagnostics. The Field Service Engineer for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics supports the needs of our clients, directly impacting patient health and well-being. This role is part of the Service Organization located in the Oklahoma City/Tulsa area and will be fully remote. Our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.

You will be part of the Field Service Team and report to the District Manager, responsible for troubleshooting, installation, preventative maintenance, and service repair needs on Beckman Coulter equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Work independently to troubleshoot, install, perform preventative maintenance, and service Beckman Coulter equipment, delivering excellent and efficient service to customers and providing technical training on products.
  • Maintain accurate customer service logs and internal service records; order repair parts and adhere to cycle times. Use business systems such as OBI, Salesforce, and SharePoint for Service Call Planning and to advance team goals.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to understand and meet requirements; assist in training newer Field Service Engineers.
Qualifications
  • Associate degree or equivalent military experience.
  • At least 1 year of experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, robotics, electronic equipment, and/or instrumentation.
Travel and Physical/Environment Requirements
  • This position requires 30-40% travel, which may include overnight stays, within the Oklahoma City, Tulsa, OK area.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to lift, move, or carry equipment, up to 50 lbs unassisted, and perform tasks involving bending, stooping, twisting, kneeling, reaching, and manual dexterity.
Preferred Experience
  • Biomedical Engineering experience; Biomedical Equipment Technician experience; Healthcare Technology Management.
Remote Work and Benefits

Beckman Coulter Diagnostics offers remote work arrangements for eligible roles. The position is eligible for remote work from your home; additional information will be provided by the interview team. The hourly range for this role is $33.00 - $37.00 and may be modified in the future. This role is eligible for a bonus/incentive pay. We offer a comprehensive benefits package including paid time off and medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
