Position Overview

The Field Service Engineer is responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction through activities such as increased throughput, decreased downtime, preventive maintenance, and upgrades. The role involves advocating for the customer and stewarding company resources.

Responsibilities
  1. Manage customer accounts comprehensively, identifying opportunities to add value through additional services and products.
  2. Ensure prompt response to customer needs, emphasizing a "first time fix" approach.
  3. Cultivate customer relationships to meet revenue goals, including growth of maintenance agreements and support of sales initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Associates degree in mechanical, electrical, biological sciences, or military equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of computer literacy (Microsoft Office, PowerBI, Salesforce, ServiceMax) and good documentation practices.
  • Troubleshooting skills with the ability to utilize documentation effectively.
Travel & Physical Requirements
  • Local travel required daily; ability to travel overnight 40-50% of the time across the territory including New England, upstate New York, Quebec, Ontario, and Maritimes.
  • Valid passport for travel into Canada.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.
Work Arrangement & Compensation

This is a remote position with a salary range of $30.00 to $36.00 per hour, plus potential bonuses and benefits such as paid time off, health insurance, and 401(k). Full vaccination against COVID-19 is required unless a reasonable accommodation is provided.
