Position Overview

The Field Service Engineer (FSE) is responsible for customer satisfaction, ensuring increased throughput, decreased downtime, and performing preventive maintenance and upgrades as needed. The FSE advocates for the customer and stewards company resources.

Responsibilities
  1. Manage customer accounts comprehensively, identifying opportunities to add value through additional services or equipment.
  2. Drive urgency to address customer needs promptly, emphasizing a "first time fix" approach.
  3. Cultivate customer relationships to meet revenue goals, supporting sales initiatives and achieving an annual growth of 8-10%.
Qualifications
  • Associates degree in mechanical, electrical, biological sciences, or military equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of computer literacy (Microsoft Office, PowerBI, Salesforce, ServiceMax) and good documentation practices.
  • At least 1 year of troubleshooting experience using documentation.
Travel & Physical Requirements
  • Local daily travel required; ability to travel overnight 40-50% of the time across CT, upstate NY, Quebec, Ontario, and Maritimes.
  • Valid passport or equivalent for Canada travel.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.
Work Arrangement & Compensation

This is a remote, full-time position with a salary range of $30.00 to $36.00 per hour, plus bonus/incentives. Benefits include paid time off, health insurance, and 401(k).
