Job summary

OptiCool Technologies is seeking a field-based Field Service Engineer to support Delta4T deployments in data centers. You will travel extensively, install, commission, and service cooling systems, and participate in a rotating on-call schedule.

You will diagnose refrigerant, electrical, and controls issues, perform preventive maintenance, and document readings for customer and engineering teams. Strong safety discipline and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in HVAC/R field service in mission-critical settings.
• EPA 608 Universal certification or ability to obtain within 60 days.
• Experience in data centers, labs, hospitals with strong safety discipline.
• Ability to read P&IDs and wiring diagrams; strong reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, start-up, and commission OptiCool systems on-site.
• Diagnose mechanical/electrical/refrigerant issues and perform break/fix.
• Lead preventive maintenance and inspections with thorough documentation.
• Provide remote support and on-call coverage on rotating schedule.
• Train customers and contractors on safe operations and standards.
