Job Summary

Join Strata Skin Sciences as a Field Service Engineer! We're seeking a motivated and skilled professional to join our team, serving customers in Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and North Carolina. This home-based role is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of our cutting-edge dermatology medical devices in medical offices and spas. This is a field service role, not an IT position. We offer a competitive salary of $75,000 - $90,000 based on experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive maintenance on all Strata products.
  • Install and remove equipment with precision and accuracy.
  • Troubleshoot and correct complex technical problems in the field.
  • Build strong relationships with clients and laser operators.
  • Accurately complete all required service paperwork in a timely manner.
  • Adhere to company Service Level Agreements.
  • Provide timely phone support to customers and colleagues.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Biomedical or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years of field service experience with medical devices or similar multi-disciplinary equipment.
  • Proven experience in managing a service territory, including strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of lasers and multidisciplinary equipment is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word).
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and provide exceptional customer service.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  • This is an independent, home-based position requiring extensive travel within the assigned territory.
  • Proficiency with standard hand tools, meters, computers, and mobile devices is required.
  • Must be able to lift and move up to 75 pounds.
  • The role involves physical activities such as kneeling, squatting, and prolonged periods of sitting and standing.
