Role Overview:

As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for performing on-site and remote maintenance, repair, and installation of oncology-related equipment, specifically Linear Accelerators. The role involves diagnosing and resolving technical issues related to mechanical, hardware, and software systems, ensuring minimal downtime for clients. The engineer will also maintain spare parts inventory, provide exceptional customer support, and prepare reports on product performance. This remote position reports to the Director of Operations.

The Position:

  • Perform Equipment Service and Maintenance: Conduct installation, repair, and routine maintenance of oncology equipment, including Linear Accelerators, ensuring compliance with manufacturer specifications.
  • Troubleshoot and Resolve Technical Issues: Diagnose mechanical, hardware, and software problems, both on-site and remotely, to ensure fast resolution and minimize equipment downtime.
  • Customer Support and Relationship Management: Serve as the primary technical contact for clients, fostering trust and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee and maintain spare parts inventories for assigned clients, ensuring equipment is always operational and compliant with safety standards.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed service records and reports to track product failures, repairs, and customer feedback using CRM tools such as Salesforce.

Requirements:

  • Professional experience in electronic and electro-mechanical engineering, with expertise in PC-based systems and troubleshooting hardware/software issues.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients.
  • Proficiency in business tools such as Microsoft Office and Salesforce.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and drive up to 8 hours per day.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if required.
