Software Placement Group in the Greater New Haven, CT area is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, service, and perform preventive maintenance on hematology, chemistry, coagulation, and automated robotic lab instrumentation. The role requires travel overnight, a Certificate or AAS in electronics, a minimum of 3 years field service experience, and eligibility to work in the U.S.

with full vaccination; you will build strong customer relationships and support diagnostics.

Qualifications

• Certificate or AAS Degree in electronics or related discipline.
• Solid background in electronics and electro-mechanical troubleshooting.
• Minimum of 3 years experience as a field service engineer.
• Willingness and ability to travel overnight as required.
• Must reside within the greater New Haven, CT area (no relocation).
• Not eligible for sponsorship; must have current U.S. work authorization.
• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

Responsibilities

Overview

A manufacturer of medical laboratory analyzers is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support hematology, chemistry, coagulation, and other automated robotic lab instrumentation in the greater New Haven, CT area. This role is critical to ensuring reliable, high-performing lab equipment for healthcare and diagnostic customers. Please note: this position is not eligible for sponsorship or work authorization support.

What you'll do

• Install, service, and perform preventive maintenance on lab instrumentation
