Job summary

Eaton Corporation is seeking a Field Service Engineer Internship candidate to work on electrical power distribution equipment, delivering technical solutions to customers with mentorship from leaders in the Electrical Engineering Services and Systems team. The internship combines hands-on field work with structured training and real projects.

Participants will rotate through diverse assignments, gain exposure to power systems, and develop skills in troubleshooting, testing, and reporting, while

Qualifications

Actively enrolled or degree in engineering from an accredited institution.
Minimum GPA 2.8.
Must have valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
Geographically flexible to relocate within the United States.
May travel up to 25% for local regions.

Responsibilities

Work on assigned projects for electrical power distribution equipment.
Deliver technical solutions to customers.
Perform less conventional, complex engineering tasks including design, testing, or research.
Gain knowledge in test equipment operation, troubleshooting, protective relays and power quality measurements.
Generate timely service reports on work, performance, and warranties.
