Job summary

Atlas Copco in Waterbury, CT, is seeking a Field Service Engineer to repair and maintain equipment at customer sites and in the field. You will ensure safety, drive performance, and support long-term reliability across a defined territory in the United States.

You will report to the Customer Support Manager, maintain the field fleet, and participate in ongoing process improvements while documenting work in our systems.

Qualifications

• 2-3+ years of experience as an industrial related field service mechanic.
• Electromechanical degree or training.
• Experience with maintenance, overhaul and repair of electrical, hydraulic and/or pneumatic systems.
• Good command of English; second language is a bonus.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in tough industrial environments.

Responsibilities

• Report directly to the Customer Support Manager.
• Maintain fleet in the field.
• Repair down equipment in the field and at customer locations.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment throughout the territory.
• Develop and optimize efficient processes and routines.
• Improve measurable success to business targets.
• Document all work daily using company hardware and software.
