Job summary

EMSAR, Equipment Management Service and Repair, provides maintenance, repair, and installation services to OEM partners in the healthcare industry. The Field Service Engineer position entails on-site preventive maintenance and repair of medical equipment, including hospital beds and exam tables, across client facilities.

This intermediate-level role offers paid technical training, on-site support, and a typical Monday–Friday schedule during business hours.

Qualifications

Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, service manuals, safety procedures, and operational guidelines.
Knowledge of commonly used field service engineering practices, procedures, and equipment.
Intermediate-level troubleshooting and technical repair skills.

Responsibilities

Perform on-site preventive maintenance and repairs on hospital beds and related equipment.
Provide intermediate-level engineering and technical service support to customers.
Manage and complete assigned work orders using EMSAR’s service management platform (ServiceMax). ~25% documentation and system updates.
Maintain communication with dispatchers to coordinate work assignments and scheduling.
May be assigned to work regularly at designated client facilities.
