The Field Service Engineer II supports the Navy by installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting IT, network, and hardware systems at fielded locations. This role focuses on hands-on technical support, system integration, and sustainment of mission-critical infrastructure across CONUS and OCONUS environments.

Essential Functions

Lead installation, configuration, and integration of IT hardware, network systems, and infrastructure at field sites.
Diagnose and resolve complex system, hardware, and network issues in operational environments.
Support system upgrades, technology refresh, and deployment activities in accordance with engineering designs.
Perform advanced preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure system availability and reliability.
Provide on-site technical leadership and guidance to junior field service personnel.
Ensure systems are configured and maintained in compliance with DoD cybersecurity policies, including STIG implementation and system hardening.
Document field activities, system configurations, and issue resolutions in accordance with program and audit requirements.
Coordinate logistics for equipment, spares, and lifecycle replacement activities.
Collaborate with engineering, network, and cybersecurity teams to resolve escalated technical issues.

Requirements

3-5 years of experience in field service engineering, systems integration, or related technical field.
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Electronics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Hands-on experience installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining enterprise IT and network systems.
Experience with system integration, deployment, and configuration of hardware and network components.
