Are you a problem-solver who loves working hands-on with cutting-edge technology? Do you enjoy traveling, troubleshooting, and making a direct impact on scientific advancements? If so, Cytek Biosciences is looking for a Field Service Engineer I/II to join our team!

What You'll Do

As a Field Service Engineer I/II, you'll be the go-to expert for installing, maintaining, and repairing flow cytometers and Cytek Upgrade products at customer sites. You'll work directly with scientists, researchers, and lab professionals to ensure their instruments are operating at peak performance.

  • Diagnose & Repair - Install, troubleshoot, and repair complex lab equipment with precision.
  • Customer-Focused Support - Provide expert guidance, answer technical questions, and build strong relationships with customers.
  • Problem-Solving on the Go - Manage service schedules efficiently, prioritizing urgent cases while setting clear expectations for non-urgent support.
  • Technical Expertise - Identify areas for product improvement based on real-world feedback.
  • Stay Organized - Maintain accurate reports, track service transactions, and manage spare parts inventory.
What You Bring to the Team
  • Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, or technical Military service (preferred).
  • Technical Know-How: Experience in flow cytometry (in a lab or repair setting) is a plus but not required.
  • Biology Basics: A fundamental understanding of biology as it relates to flow cytometry.
  • Hands-On Mentality: Passion for troubleshooting, fixing things, and ensuring high-quality performance.
Work Environment & Perks
  • Travel-Friendly Role - Expect to visit customer sites and work directly with cutting-edge scientific equipment.
  • Full-Time Commitment - Standard hours Monday-Friday with occasional evening/weekend work as needed.
  • Physical Requirements - Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and work in a standing position for extended periods.
