Job summary

Zeeco in Tulsa, OK is seeking a Service Engineer for the Fired Heater Division. This role involves extensive field work, with about 60% travel to installation sites and field startups.

You will supervise installations, perform start-up and troubleshooting of Zeeco combustion systems, and collaborate with engineers and contractors to ensure safe, efficient operation. During training you will learn company procedures, safety standards, and reporting requirements.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in engineering or a comparable field.
• Ability to travel a minimum of 60%.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to manage workflow and crews on startups.
• Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings, piping from P&ID's, instrumentation and wiring.
• Ability to troubleshoot and report back for assistance if necessary.

Responsibilities

• Problem solve in the field with little to no supervision.
• Communicate professionally with personnel ranging from plant managers to skilled labor.
• Supervise and manage contractors and other personnel while on site or in the field.
• Manage workflow on sites.
• Follow written and verbal instructions to ensure Zeco combustion systems are installed and operating correctly.
• Start-up, operation and troubleshooting of all Zeco combustion systems.
• Create and submit detailed reports.
