Job summary

Eaton's ES AMER ESS division in Lenexa, KS is seeking a Field Service Representative to install, test, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical switchgear at customer sites across Kansas, Arkansas, and Missouri.

The role includes a company car and a guaranteed 40-hour paid week, requires a valid US driver's license and a satisfactory motor vehicle record, and may require travel. Salary range is $69,000–$101,000 annually.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 2+ years electrical or mechanical experience, or trade school with 5+ years servicing electrical systems.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
• No relocation; must reside within 50 miles of Lenexa KS; military members exempt from area limit.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Work on assigned projects for electrical equipment.
• Deliver technical solutions to customers.
• Perform complex engineering assignments involving equipment design, testing, or research.
• Demonstrate proficiency in test equipment operation, troubleshooting, protection & control design, and power quality measurements.
• Generate timely, accurate service reports on work, product performance and warranties.
