We are currently seeking a Field Service Engineer responsible for customer satisfaction, including increased throughput, decreased downtime, regular Preventive Maintenance, and upgrades. This person will be a customer advocate and steward for the company.

This position is part of the Global Service Organization and will be working remotely, primarily covering Colorado, New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Tennessee, Mississippi, Louisiana.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  1. Servicing Beckman Coulter products at customer facilities.
  2. Supporting customer relationships and commercial initiatives.
  3. Ensuring prompt customer needs resolution with a focus on a “first time fix”.

The essential requirements include:

  • Associate’s degree in mechanical, electrical, biomedical engineering, life sciences, or equivalent military experience.
  • At least 1 year of experience in problem-solving, diagnosing, or troubleshooting instrumentation challenges.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

  • Ability to commute to customer sites within the territory.
  • Overnight travel of 10% - 50%.
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs. occasionally.

Preferred experience:

  • Laboratory or field service experience.
  • Experience in regulated laboratory environments.
