Reporting to the Field Service Manager, the Field Service Engineer is responsible for maintaining and supporting customer equipment, including installation, diagnostics, and troubleshooting of Videojet devices located at customer sites. This role requires building strong, trusted relationships with customers and providing expert guidance to address their needs.
This position will be located in Cleveland, OH or Akron, OH and will be remote.
In this role, a typical day will look like:
Provide ongoing care and support for customer equipment.
Install our products and solutions at customer locations. Diagnose and resolve challenges and problems.
Become a trusted advisor and partner for customers to develop excellent relationships.
Promote service agreements and newer technology to extend the Videojet footprint in the market.
Daily travel from Cleveland or Akron within a 2-hour radius across the assigned territory, or as needed. Travel to Wood Dale will be required for training with ample notice.
Essential requirements:
At least 3 years of field service experience and/or customer-facing roles.
Ability to travel extensively between northern Ohio and northeast Indiana, including occasional overnight travel. Initial training requires consecutive weeks in Wood Dale, including weekends.
A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Experience in repairing, troubleshooting, and diagnosing various types of equipment. Electronic and electrical skills are preferred.
Basic computer/technical skills (email, software, phone apps, Microsoft Word).

The compensation range for this role is $28.00 - $30.00 USD per hour. This job is eligible for Bonus Pay. We offer a comprehensive benefits package for eligible employees.
