We are seeking a Field Service Engineer responsible for customer satisfaction, including increased throughput, decreased downtime, regular preventive maintenance, and upgrades. This role involves advocating for the customer and supporting the global service organization remotely in Chicago, IL.

Responsibilities include:

• Servicing Beckman Coulter products at customer facilities.
• Building customer relationships and supporting commercial initiatives.
• Ensuring prompt response to customer needs with a focus on first-time fixes.

Minimum requirements:

• Associate’s degree in mechanical, electrical, biomedical engineering, life sciences, or equivalent military experience.
• At least 1 year of experience in troubleshooting or diagnosing instrumentation challenges.

Travel and physical requirements:

• Ability to commute within the territory.
• Overnight travel 10-50%.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.

Preferred experience includes prior laboratory or field service experience and working in regulated environments.

This position offers a salary range of $65,000-$75,000, plus bonus/incentive pay, with benefits including paid time off, health insurance, and 401(k). The role supports flexible remote work arrangements, with details provided during interviews.
