Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support installation, startup, troubleshooting and service of automated manufacturing equipment at customer sites, with emphasis on adhesive dispensing and riveting/mechanical joining systems. The role involves extensive travel and understanding of PLCs and robotic communications, with training provided for specific machinery.

• Ability to read wiring and pneumatic schematics and understand PLCs.
• Experience with adhesive dispensing and riveting/mechanical joining equipment (training provided).

Description

Field Service Engineer responsible for supporting the installation, startup, troubleshooting, and service of automated manufacturing equipment at customer sites, primarily involving adhesive dispensing and self-piercing riveting/mechanical joining equipment. The role requires extensive travel and someone with a strong industrial equipment experience who can understand PLCs and robotic communications, while the specific machinery can be taught.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
