Job summary

Actalent is seeking an entry-level Field Service Controls Engineer in Grand Rapids, MI. You will grow across controls, software, mechanical, or electrical engineering disciplines while applying hands-on skills learned in school and co-ops.

Initial training happens onsite in Grand Rapids, followed by extensive travel (75–90%) with all expenses paid. This permanent position offers growth in a dynamic custom equipment environment.

Qualifications

• Fundamental understanding of PLC/ladder logic/electrical engineering concepts.
• Mechanical and electrical aptitude.

Responsibilities

Essential Skills

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $63000.00 - $75000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
