LECO Corporation seeks a Field Service Engineer for the Southwestern region, covering Louisiana, Texas and Arkansas. The role involves remote work with travel to customer sites, up to four overnights weekly, and hands-on maintenance, installation and training of analytical and metallographic instruments.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, repairs, installations, and technician training. Travel is frequent; ideal candidates reside near Shreveport, LA and can pass background checks

Qualifications

• Two year technical degree or trade school completion.
• Military training in a technical field is advantageous.
• Equivalent hands-on technical experience accepted.

Responsabilités

• Provide preventive/general maintenance, breakdown repair, troubleshooting and corrective actions to analytical and metallographic instrumentation.
• Perform new instrumentation installations as well as updates and upgrade kit installations.
• Provide training on theory, operation, software, and good maintenance practices.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, expense reports, and vehicle logs.

The majority of time is spent at customer locations, with travel up to four overnights / five days per week depending on workload. The Field Service Engineer builds and maintains relationships as a customer facing member of the team while supporting service activities at customer facilities. This role provides maintenance, repairs, upgrades, installations, and training on analytical and metallographic instrumentation in our Southwestern Region. Primary service area comprised of one or more of the following states: Louisiana, Texas, and Arkansas with travel to surrounding regions on an as-needed basis. The ideal candidate will reside near Shreveport, LA.
