Job summary

Delkor Systems, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Engineer I to install, start up, and test Delkor equipment at customer sites. The role requires travel to customer facilities and hands-on system commissioning.

You will troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, perform preventive maintenance, and train customer personnel on operation and maintenance. The position includes documenting activities and providing follow-up to customers.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Automated Systems, Robotics, Mechatronics, or related field.
  • 2+ years as a Field Service Engineer I or 3+ years relevant field experience.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting ability.
  • Experience with RSLogix 500/5000, PanelView Plus HMIs, and reading schematics.
  • Ability to travel frequently, often on short notice.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and independent work skills.

Responsibilities

  • Install, start up, and test Delkor equipment at customer sites.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and basic programming issues.

Job description

Physical Requirements
  • Regular lifting up to 40 lbs; occasional lifting up to 75 lbs with assistance.
  • Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, and work in production environments.
  • 70% travel to customer facilities (industrial production environment).
  • 20% work on Delkor’s production floor.
  • 10% office-based work and documentation.
  • $35.00–$45.00/hour, depending on experience.
  • Field Service II and III may be eligible for a $12,000 sign-on bonus.
