Job summary

Jobot is hosting a role in Nashville, TN for an engineer with strong electrical, mechanical, and robotic experience. The candidate will read electrical drawings, supervise subcontractors, and apply best practices in hardware electrical work.

The ideal candidate has hands-on knowledge of mechatronics, instrumentation, sensors, actuators, and PLC/HMI basics, with a track record in industrial robotics and installation projects.

Qualifications

• Good electrical drawings reading skills. Ability to supervise subcontractors in the wiring and cabling process, know the good practices for hardware electrical work.
• Strong Technical knowledge and experience with mechatronic equipment, instrumentation, sensors and actuators.
• Strong Technical knowledge on Mechanical installation, Pneumatic, and Hydraulic layouts to identify deviations such as failures, damages or breakdowns.
• Good knowledge about IO tests and basic equipment Functional tests
• Basic knowledge in PLC Hardware & Software Programming
• Basic knowledge in HMI Programming
• Knowledge and experience in an industrial working environment especially in Robotic applications
