Fluence is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join our team in California. You will maintain and troubleshoot advanced battery energy storage systems deployed across industries, serve as the onsite technical authority, and ensure peak performance with safety and reliability.

You will build strong customer relationships, diagnose electrical, mechanical and software issues, coordinate with third-party contractors, provide onsite training and document service activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field (or equivalent technical experience).
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, troubleshooting, and diagnostic tools.
• Ability to travel frequently to customer sites.

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly qualified Field Service Engineer to join our organization. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance and troubleshooting of advanced battery energy storage systems deployed across a range of industries. Serving as the technical authority onsite, you will ensure systems operate at peak performance while upholding the highest standards of safety and reliability. Your expertise will be instrumental in delivering superior customer service and reinforcing our commitment to operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Required Qualifications And Experience

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent technical experience).
• 3-5 years of proven experience in field service, preferably within battery systems, energy storage, or power electronics.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, troubleshooting, and diagnostic tools.
• Ability to travel frequently to customer sites.

Additional Information

In compliance with California pay transparency regulations, the base salary range for this position is $107,000.00 - $134,000.00 per year. Final compensation will depend on experience and qualifications.
