Job summary

EnerStaff LLC is seeking a Filed Service Electrician in Elmhurst, IL. The role covers installation, startup, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of electrical and control systems on hydraulic equipment for refineries, petrochemical plants and industrial facilities. Travel is required.

High school diploma or GED required.
Electrical troubleshooting and maintenance experience.
Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Strong commitment to workplace safety.

Responsibilities

Perform startup and commissioning of hydraulic equipment, electrical systems, and control systems.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical components, PLCs, controllers, sensors, motors, and field instrumentation.
Conduct preventative and reactive maintenance on electrical and electronic equipment.
Diagnose equipment malfunctions and implement effective corrective actions.
Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
Configure, test, and calibrate control systems and instrumentation.
Support customers with technical troubleshooting and operational challenges.
Document service activities, maintenance records, and customer reports.
Ensure compliance with all company, customer, and site-specific safety requirements.
Work collaboratively with mechanical technicians and engineering personnel during service projects.
