Mechanics Hub in Jackson, MI seeks a Resident Diesel Truck Technician for field service across a multi-county area. You will operate a brand-new Mercedes Benz Sprinter van, providing diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs at customer locations with 95%+ time spent on the road.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of diesel/heavy-duty engine experience.
• Diagnostic capabilities with diagnostic software.
• Ability to read wiring schematics and use multimeters.
• Valid Class B CDL (company will support obtaining if needed).
• Willing to provide own tools up to 3/4" drive.
• Pass background check, driving record check, and drug screening.
• Willing to work in field environment with minimal shop time.

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostics, maintenance and repairs at customer locations.
• Spend 95%+ of time on the road servicing a fleet and customer equipment.
• Perform on-site troubleshooting and repair work across a multi-county service area.
• Complete initial shop training period before field deployment.

We are seeking a Resident Diesel Truck Technician for our Jackson, MI Region.This is a full-time position supporting a fleet and customer equipment across a multi-county service area. You'll be outfitted with a brand-new Mercedes Benz Sprinter van equipped to your specifications and spend 95%+ of your time on the road providing diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs at customer locations.
