Qualifications

• Demonstrated mechanical, electrical, troubleshooting, and diagnostic skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, service, and repair diesel engine systems in the field.
• Conduct inspections and diagnostic testing to identify worn or damaged components.
• Diagnose and repair diesel engine deficiencies by removing, repairing, adjusting, overhauling, assembling, disassembling, and replacing assemblies and parts.
• Diagnose and repair related systems including power, drivetrain, electrical, fuel, cooling, A/C and emissions as applicable.
• Perform field-service with limited supervision and seek assistance for highly complex repairs.
• Complete accurate service reports, work orders, and parts documentation.
• Identify and obtain parts and materials necessary to finish repairs.
• Communicate professionally with customers about service needs and conditions.
• Travel to customer locations and job sites as required, including short-notice trips.
