Butler Machinery Company is seeking an Ag Equipment Field Service Diesel Technician in Fremont, NE. You will perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on agricultural equipment, troubleshooting hydraulics, electrical, and powertrain systems.

The role offers full-time employment with a pay scale of $32.73/hr to $53.03/hr, DOE, plus a $2.00 field differential. Travel to various Butler and customer locations is possible as workload dictates.

Qualifications

• Must be able to provide an excellent customer experience.
• Able to work with minimal supervision.
• Proficient with computers and field tech tools.
• Strong organizational skills are essential.
• Willingness to acquire trade-specific tooling.
• Strong problem-solving skills and quick learner.
• Preferred degree or certificate in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Must be 21+ with valid work authorization in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on agriculture equipment and systems.
• Troubleshoot hydraulics, electrical, and powertrain components.
• Overtime available (anything over 8 hours paid at 1.5x).
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment.
• Work independently and as part of a high-performing team.
• Commit to lifelong learning and training to stay current with standards.
• Lift up to 70 lbs.
• Travel to Butler locations and customer sites as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
