Job summary

MacAllister Machinery Co Inc. seeks a Coordinator - Rental Services Field Service in Brownstown Charter Township, MI. You will assist customers in selecting and scheduling repairs and maintenance, and coordinate technicians’ workloads to meet service levels.

You will help technicians diagnose on-site, walk through schematics, and allocate parts, while managing purchase orders and service coordination. A strong mechanical background is essential and flexibility for 24/7 on-call rotation is

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1-2 years of experience required.
• On-call (24/7) schedule rotation available.
• Associate or Bachelor's Degree preferred in related technical field.
• 2+ years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming customer calls to schedule service.
• Coordinate routing of field technicians based on demand and location.
• Allocate parts for service calls and work orders.
• Monitor work orders to ensure completion and follow-up.
• Analyze and coordinate equipment exchanges with dispatch.
• Inform customers of additional service or parts needed.
• Organize and schedule all on-site machines for repair.
• Serve as back-up for the Parts Coordinator.
• Assist Service Manager with work orders and purchase orders.
• Coordinate parts based on work orders for field technicians.
• Manage and ensure accuracy of open purchase order reports.
