Job summary

ChampionX, now part of SLB, seeks a Field Service Coordinator in Odessa, TX to coordinate scheduling for the Field Service team and serve as a key communications link between customers and technicians.

You will maintain records, support onboarding, and help keep service operations running smoothly, with a focus on safety and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
  • Strong customer service and relationship-building skills with effective communication.
  • Professional demeanor with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Basic knowledge of industrial safety practices.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Intermediate verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic mathematical skills.
  • Ability to execute strategies and support departmental initiatives.
  • Ability to prioritize work, determine goals and objectives, and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications and other business software used for communication, reporting, and data management.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work extended hours as business needs require.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
  • Commitment to following all company and safety policies.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and prioritize scheduling activities for the Field Service team to ensure customer needs are met efficiently.
  • Serve as a key point of communication regarding personal coverage, call handling, response times, and service protocols.
  • Support onboarding and training efforts by coordinating with HSE and Training departments for new employees.
  • Maintain accurate records, schedules, and supporting documentation for field service operations.
  • Assist with administrative projects and other duties as assigned to support the overall success of the Field Service team.

What You Will Do

Minimum Qualifications

  • Ability to work extended hours, including more than 8 hours per day or 40 hours per week, as business needs require.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
  • Commitment to following all company and safety policies, promoting safe work behaviors, and proactively addressing unsafe conditions.

Physical Demands

Preferred Qualifications
  • Two or more years of coordinator support or coordination experience.
  • Experience supporting field operations, service organizations, or customer-facing teams.
  • Experience preparing reports, spreadsheets, presentations, and other business documentation.
