Qualifications

• Ability to read PLC ladder logic, HMI databases, electrical schematics, P&ID drawings, and O&M manuals.
• Hands-on experience with PLC and HMI systems, including basic programming and troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems, including VFDs, chillers, boilers, and BAS.
• Willingness to travel up to 70% (including overnight travel).
• Effective communication with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve field issues independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-startup activities including system checks, component testing, and PLC/HMI I/O validation.
• Lead equipment startup and commissioning at customer sites, ensuring proper system operation, sequencing, and communication between components.
• Identify, document, and help resolve system issues, coordinating with internal teams and external vendors as needed.
• Make minor PLC and HMI program adjustments to support system functionality and performance.
• Train customer personnel on system operation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and minor repairs.
• Complete detailed service reports, upload project documentation, and support project closeout activities.
• Assist with in-house quality control, final assembly testing, and provide remote technical support to customers as needed.
