Job summary

You will assemble equipment, use precision measuring tools, and interpret mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical prints and NC code to ensure proper operation. The role requires strong mechanical aptitude, hands-on assembly experience, and willingness to travel on short notice, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of assembly technology
• Experience reading mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical prints
• NC programming experience preferred
• Previous CNC machining or machine-building experience preferred
• Willing to travel and work overtime

Responsibilities

• Respond quickly to customer installations or problems on short notice
• Assemble and start-up new CNC machines to GROB specifications
• Assemble and start-up assembly equipment
• Use precision measuring instruments (calipers, levels, indicators, micrometers)
• Read and follow mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical prints/drawings
• Read and follow tool layouts and NC code
• Troubleshoot machine errors
• Respond to emergency calls from customers promptly
