Job summary

Applied Technical Services, LLC, based in Marietta, GA, is seeking a Field Calibration Technician to calibrate a variety of test and measurement equipment on-site with up to 50% regional travel.

The role requires 3–5+ years in electronic calibration, strong interpersonal and computer skills, and the ability to work independently or with a team. Travel and on-site calibration are key aspects of the job.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of electronic calibration or relevant experience with a high school diploma (or equivalent)
• Experience calibration of electronic equipment; prior use of measurement equipment preferred
• Commercial or Military experience acceptable

The Role

The Field Calibration Technician will be required to travel on-site to calibrate a variety of test and measurement equipment. The Field Calibration Technician will work with other technicians on the team or may work on projects by themselves, should be a self-starter and should possess good interpersonal skills. Good verbal and written communication skills and well as computer skills are a must.

This role will be based in our corporate office in Marietta, GA and will require up to 50% regional travel.

Calibration of electronic and mechanical measuring and test equipment

Qualifications: Requirements

• 3 – 5+ years of electronic calibration or relevant experience with a high school diploma (or equivalent) and/or a combination of experience and education
• Candidate should have previous experience in electronic equipment calibration; Candidates with experience using electronic measurement equipment will also be considered.
• Commercial or Military experience acceptable
• Position will require daily travel - most travel would be within a 6-hour range of Marietta; GA Current technicians average 10 plus overnights per month
