Job summary

Kpler is expanding its Sensor Network team in the United States. The Sensor Network Field Agent role offers autonomy to identify installation sites, negotiate access, and install EMF sensors and cameras along powerline rights-of-way.

You will travel weekly across the US, manage field execution, troubleshoot hardware, and ensure data is uploaded to our databases. A Bachelor's degree or 3+ years' experience, plus strong communication, are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 3+ years of relevant field experience.
• High-level interpersonal and communication skills with landowners.
• Practical mechanical aptitude and comfort with tools and test equipment.
• Valid driver's license with a clean record and willingness to travel weekly.
• Physical ability to work outdoors and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Identify and secure site access: negotiate with landowners and research land ownership.
• Deploy physical sensor infrastructure: lead installation, troubleshooting, and calibration of EMF sensors and cameras.
• Manage autonomous field operations: weekly travel across the United States with overnight stays.
• Maintain data accuracy: upload site details and sensor data into company databases.
• Site upkeep and preventative maintenance: routine inspections and hardware troubleshooting.
• Collaborate cross-functionally: work with Operations Managers, Data Analysts, and Finance using Slack and Salesforce.
