Job summary

Zeus Fire and Security is seeking a mid‑level technician to independently complete basic‑to‑intermediate installations and troubleshoot on small commercial systems. You will work with moderate supervision and may train Entry technicians.

Responsibilities include installing structured cabling, CCTV and intrusion systems, and configuring multi‑door access control with basic integrations. Strong plan reading and documentation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years in low-voltage security installation.
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
• Competent in structured cabling installation and device termination.
• Familiar with CCTV, intrusion and PACS platforms.
• Ability to read plans and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Install and terminate structured cabling and pathways per BICSI/IBC/NEC on small to mid-size projects.
• Install and configure intrusion systems, CCTV, and multi-door access control with basic integrations.
• Program devices, test, commission, and train end users on L1/L2 systems.
• Read construction plans, shop drawings, wiring diagrams and schematics.
• Perform conduit bending, rough‑in, and mount racks/enclosures neatly and safely.
• Maintain accurate job documentation and coordinate with the Project Manager.
