Job summary

Cennox is seeking an Electronic Security Installer to install, service, and maintain security systems for commercial customers, including intrusion detection, fire alarms, CCTV, and access control. This hands-on role involves reading blueprints and wiring diagrams and coordinating with clients on timelines.

You'll perform preventative maintenance, ensure safety and quality, and contribute to project documentation for large commercial installs.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and construction drawings.
• Experience with electronic security, low-voltage, electrical, or related systems.
• Knowledge of CCTV, intrusion, fire alarm, access control technologies.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and maintain intrusion, fire alarm, CCTV, and access control systems
• Perform preventative maintenance and system inspections on contracted equipment
• Coordinate installation schedules and communicate directly with customers regarding project timelines
• Prepare job estimates and documentation as directed
• Maintain accurate installation records and project documentation
• Work collaboratively with project teams on larger commercial installations
• Ensure all work is completed safely, professionally, and in accordance with company standards
