Inner Parish Security Corporation (IPSC) in Baton Rouge, LA is seeking Port Security Officers to protect premises and deter crime. We welcome retirees and veterans; prior law enforcement or military experience is a plus, with training provided for the right candidate.

We offer unarmed positions and various shift options (1st/2nd/3rd shifts, weekends). License assistance for LA Security Guard licensing and training is provided. Join a team committed to service, integrity and commitment.

Qualifications

• Ability to pass a drug screen.
• For driving positions, must be at least 21 years old, have a valid Driver's License, and a clean Driving Record.
• Prior law enforcement, military and/or 1 year of security experience is a plus; training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Performing both regular and random patrols of multiple premises.
• Reporting any security-related incidents, hazards or unusual occurrences.
• When necessary, performing control procedures.
• Operating emergency equipment.
• Documenting nightly operations and filing weekly reports.
• Investigating breaches of property.
