Job summary

UNRWA is seeking a Supervisor to lead security for the designated Area Office, reporting to the Chief Area Office. You will oversee guard forces, contribute to SRM processes, and ensure policy compliance and safety of personnel and assets.

The role includes coordinating security training, managing access control, advising on equipment, handling security incidents, and liaising with local authorities. A first university degree in security or related fields and at least two years' emergency

Qualifications

• A first university degree in security and risk management, political/social science, criminal justice, international relations, business management or related fields.
• Two years of responsible and relevant work experience in emergency settings.
• Valid driving license is required.

Responsibilities

• Assists CAO in developing and implementing SRM process and Security Plan.
• Assists in developing security policy guidelines and SOPs for compliance.
• Manages access control procedures and conducts security assessments of premises.
• Provides security briefings and training for personnel; oversees guard force operations.
• Advises on acquisition and inventory control of security equipment.
• Responds to security incidents and prepares incident reports; informs NSO of events.
