Job summary

Helena Agri-Enterprises, LLC in Sublimity, Oregon, is seeking a Field Checker to scout crops for insects, diseases and weed pressure, and to collect soil and leaf samples for the sales team.

You will maintain insect traps, record daily crop data, make small deliveries, and provide excellent service to internal and external customers while adhering to safety policies. A high school diploma and valid U.S. driver''s license are preferred/required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Legal ability to drive Helena vehicle with U.S. driver’s license.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• Spanish language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Obtain soil and leaf samples for the sales team.
• Check crops for insects, diseases and weeds.
• Maintain insect traps and monitor them on schedule.
• Record and file daily crop reports.
• Input records into computer system to monitor results.
• Make small deliveries using company vehicle.
• Maintain company vehicle.
• Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
• Follow leadership directions and job duties.
• Reliable and regular attendance required.
