Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an Environmental Field Technician to conduct Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments, oversee soil excavation, and manage remedial and vapor mitigation systems. The role will require travel for overnight fieldwork and involves data analysis, report preparation, and field equipment maintenance.

The position blends hands-on fieldwork with office tasks, including sample handling and OM&M activities, and supports aquifer testing and maintenance of monitoring systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Environmental Science or related science field with 1+ year of related experience, or 5+ years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
• A valid drivers license with acceptable violation history may be required.
• Ability to travel for overnight fieldwork.
• Certification in field of expertise preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments and oversee soil excavation.
• Manage remedial and vapor mitigation systems, OMM, aquifer testing, and sampling of various media.
• Review, analyze and reduce field data; prepare tables, exhibits, and reports; package samples and maintain equipment.
