Job summary

Roto-Rooter Plumbing and Drain Service is seeking a Field Sales Representative for Water Restoration to identify and close opportunities in the residential and commercial market. You will assess moisture levels and determine demolition and drying needs, while following up with customers to deliver effective solutions.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, strong customer service, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Outside sales experience in home services preferred.
• Excellent English communication (oral and written).
• Willing to work days, nights, weekends, holidays.
• Must have valid driver’s license and pass background check.
• Plumbing knowledge not required, water restoration knowledge required.
• WRT/ASD certifications preferred and maintained.
• Must be medically cleared to wear respirator and pass respirator fit test.

Responsibilities

• Identify and sell opportunities to mitigate property damage caused by water to residential and commercial markets.
• Perform assessments of property moisture levels and need for demolition and drying.
• Engage in proactive follow-up with existing customers to deliver effective water-related solutions.
• Leverage pricing matrix and insurance guidelines to provide competitive quotes and close sales.
• Be a trusted information resource for Roto-Rooter customers.

Overview

Field Sales Representative - Water Restoration Roto-Rooter is currently seeking Field Sales Representatives for our Water Restoration department. Ideal candidates will actively pursue sales opportunities and qualified leads provided by field service technicians and call centers. If you have previous experience in outside sales and aspire to succeed in a leading company, we encourage you to apply!

• Unlimited earnings with an average of $ 55,000-$75,000 per year PLUS mileage reimbursement!

Water Restoration Sales Responsibilities:

• The primary function of this role is to identify and sell opportunities to mitigate property damage caused by water to the residential and commercial market.
• The Sales Representative will perform assessments of property to determine moisture levels and the need for demolition and drying to acceptable levels.
• Engage in proactive follow-up communication with existing customers to deliver effective solutions for their plumbing or water-related issues.
• Leverage our established pricing matrix and/or insurance guidelines to provide competitive quotes for repair/replacement options/solutions and effectively close sales.
• Be a trusted information resource for Roto-Rooter customers.

Water Restoration Sales Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license and acceptable background check per company standards.
• Demonstrated exceptional focus on delivering outstanding customer service.
• Thrives in a fast-paced work environment while also being available to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
• Plumbing experience is not necessary or required however, knowledge of Water Restoration and practices is required.
• Organized self-starter with an outgoing personality
• A Working knowledge of common software programs such as Word, Excel, etc. Other Roto-Rooter specific computer programs will also be used.
• Previous experience with outside sales of in-home services is strongly desired, but all outside sales experience will be considered
• Maintains IICRC Water Damage Restoration Technician (WRT) and Applied Structural Drying Technician (ASD) certification in Water Damage Restoration.
• Must be medically cleared to wear a respirator and complete a respirator fit test.
