Roto-Rooter is seeking Field Sales Representatives for our Water Restoration department in Minnesota. The role focuses on identifying and selling water damage restoration solutions to residential and commercial markets, with leads provided and no cold calling.

Compensation includes a weekly base of $500 during training, plus commission: 4.4% after $15,000, then 2% after $25,000 in qualified weekly sales. Typical earnings range $80,000–$85,000, with benefits and flexible schedules.

Field Sales Representative - Water Restoration

Roto-Rooter is currently seeking Field Sales Representatives for our Water Restoration department. Ideal candidates will actively pursue sales opportunities and qualified leads provided by field service technicians and call centers. This opportunity provides:

• Sales Representatives are paid a weekly salary of $500 during and after training. After training, they are eligible for 4.4% of total sales after $15,000 in qualified weekly sales and then an additional 2% of total sales after $25,000 in qualified weekly sales.
• This position is a commissioned role and pay fluctuates year-to-year based on performance, but successful employees in this role typically earn $80,000 to $85,000.

Responsibilities

Water Restoration Sales Responsibilities:

• The primary function of this role is to identify and sell opportunities to mitigate property damage caused by water to the residential and commercial market.
• The Sales Representative will perform assessments of property to determine moisture levels and the need for demolition and drying to acceptable levels.
• Engage in proactive follow-up communication with existing customers to deliver effective solutions for their plumbing or water-related issues.
• Leverage our established pricing matrix and/or insurance guidelines to provide competitive quotes for repair/replacement options/solutions and effectively close sales.
• Be a trusted information resource for Roto-Rooter customers.

Requirements

Water Restoration Sales Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license and acceptable background check per company standards.
• Demonstrated exceptional focus on delivering outstanding customer service.
• Thrives in a fast-paced work environment while also being available to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
• Plumbing experience is not necessary or required however, knowledge of Water Restoration and practices is required.
• Organized self-starter with an outgoing personality
• A Working knowledge of common software programs such as Word, Excel, etc. Other Roto-Rooter specific computer programs will also be used.
• Previous experience with outside sales of in-home services is strongly desired, but all outside sales experience will be considered
• Maintains IICRC Water Damage Restoration Technician (WRT) and Applied Structural Drying Technician (ASD) certification in Water Damage Restoration.
• Must be medically cleared to wear a respirator and complete a respirator fit test.
