Field Sales Representative, Service - Quincy Compressor - Houston, TX

Your Role

Your mission as a Field Sales Representative, Service is to develop and strengthen relationships with customers and internal partners by listening, creating value, and following up on leads and opportunities that support business growth.

  1. Attend to incoming customer requests and develop them into cross-selling and upselling opportunities.
  2. Follow up, qualify, and respond to leads from various sources.
  3. Collaborate with other areas and sales teams to develop strategies to retain or recover lost customers.
  4. Conduct prospecting with defined target accounts, set up future meetings, and develop sales opportunities.
  5. Conduct the necessary sales process to create value for the customer and each stakeholder.
  6. Identify and further develop contacts within each account.
  7. Prepare quotes for Fixed Price Services, Service Plans, and other services.
  8. Use business tools, such as Salesforce.com, CPQ (iQ2), ERP (BPCS), to gather necessary customer information for quoting, follow-up, and activity recording.
  9. Process orders received, maintaining the integrity of the post-sales process.
  10. Help maintain the installed base information and customer records in ERP (BPCS) and CRM systems.
  11. Provide feedback to sales and marketing teams on market activity, competition, and other relevant information.
  12. Conduct regular reviews with respective sales manager and CTS team.
  13. Contribute to team efforts, meetings, and discussions.
Qualifications
  1. 2 years experience in the service business, prospecting, and conducting systematic sales processes.
  2. Experience with compressed air systems or similar.
  3. Bachelor’s degree in management, business, administration, marketing, engineering, or other technical specialization (relevant experience will be considered).
  4. Customer-oriented with the ability to understand and prioritize customer needs.
  5. A risk-taker who can lead themselves and cope with varied workloads.
  6. Well-versed with computers, CRMs, and database management.
