Quincy Compressor LLC is seeking a Field Sales Representative, Service to join our team in Houston, TX.

Quincy is everywhere. Compressed air is known as the fourth utility for good reason. It's essential for applications from aerospace exploration, food processing and packaging, to oil and gas production and refinement, and everywhere in between.

Your role

Your mission as a Field Sales Representative, Service is to develop and strengthen relationships with customers and internal partners by listening, creating value and by creating and following up on leads and opportunities that support business growth for our customers and our own business.

Your success is determined by your ability to be customer-oriented, while finding the most suitable value proposition for the customer. You will develop a strategic sales territory, new accounts, opportunities and call planning.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Attending to incoming customer requests and developing those into cross-selling and upselling opportunities
  • Following up, qualifying and responding to leads from different sources
  • Collaborating with other areas and sales teams and departments to develop opportunities and strategies to retain or recover lost customers
  • Conducting prospecting with defined target accounts, setting up future meetings and developing sales opportunities
  • Conducting the necessary sales process to create value for the customer and each stakeholder
  • Identifying and further developing contacts within each account
  • Preparing quotes for Fixed Price Services, Service Plans, and other services
  • Using business tools, such as Salesforce.com, CPQ (iQ2), ERP (BPCS), among others, to gather necessary customer information for quoting, follow-up and to record activities

We are looking for a candidate with 2 years of experience in the service business, prospecting and conducting systematic sales process, and experience with compressed air systems or similar. A bachelor’s degree in either management, business, administration, marketing, engineering or other technical specialization is required.

Location

This is a remote position with a dedicated territory, reporting to our Houston, Texas location.
