Field Sales Representative – Mass Spectrometry (MS)

Northern California | San Francisco Bay Area

VRS Recruitment is seeking an experienced and driven Field Sales Representative to join a leading provider of Mass Spectrometry solutions. This position is based in Northern California and focuses on the sale of high-performance MS instruments and application solutions across proteomics, metabolomics, and molecular imaging markets.

Primary Responsibilities

• Manage a well-defined territory encompassing the San Francisco Peninsula
• Promote cutting-edge Mass Spectrometry systems and solutions across life science sectors
• Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities to drive growth
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers
• Provide accurate monthly forecasts and reports to the Regional Manager; consistently meet or exceed sales targets

Candidate Qualifications

• M.S. or higher in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related life science field
• Proven experience in technical sales; Mass Spec experience strongly preferred, but capital equipment sales will be considered
• Self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable with strong relationship-building skills
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities
• $100K-140K base + 60-70K at plan (uncapped commission structure)
• Monthly vehicle allowance and paid mileage for all business travel
• Comprehensive benefits package including Health, Dental, Vision, and 401(k) with employer match
